39 Year Old Turkish – Ethnic Male Rhinoplasty Before, Computer Imaging, After

39 year old Turkish male patient who suffered multiple nasal traumas. resulting in severe left nasal deviation completely occluding the left nasal cavity. Patient complained of a dorsal hump as well as bulbous tip. During his consultation with Dr. Slupchynskyj, patient had computer imaging, showing the achievable and realistic correction of functional and cosmetic nasal deformities. A lateral computer imaging is shown with the before, computer imaging and after.

Dr. Slupchynskyj performed complex Open Rhinoplasty reconstruction utilizing multiple septal grafts to include a septal strut graft, septal shield graft and septal spreader grafts. The septal spreader grafts opened the left nasal valve while also realigning the left nasal vault. The nasal dorsal hump was reduced using a combination of rasping and horizontal bony osteotomy. Dr. S. also performed low and mid nasal osteotomies (precision nasal bone cutting) which further realigned the bony nasal vault. The nasal tip was refined by defatting the tip along with placement of multiple onlay tip cartilage septal grafts. Patient 1 month post-op – his tip will continue to become more refined and smaller over the next 6 to 12 months. Dr. Slupchynskyj will use a combination of steroid injections to the tip and gentle massage to help the tip become even more refined over time.
