Ethnic Rhinoplasty

This is a 45 year old Hispanic female from Brazil who underwent her first (or Primary) Rhinoplasty Surgery in 2006 with another surgeon. She was not happy with the results, so she proceeded with a Revision Rhinoplasty in 2010 with the same doctor. After her Revision Surgery with this doctor, she was still unhappy and complained of a bulbous tip, ill-defined bridge, and Pollybeak Deformity. Dr. Slupchynskyj performed an Open Revision Rhinoplasty, de-bulking her tip while removing fatty tissue, as well as scar tissue.

Dr. Slupchynskyj’s technique vastly improved her tip and corrected the Pollybeak Deformity. In addition, Dr. Slupchynskyj placed custom carved cartilage grafts in the tip to further reduce the bulbousness. Dr. Slupchynskyj also placed a custom carved silastic implant (SLUPimplantâ„¢) to raise the bridge and nasofrontal angle. The SLUPimplantâ„¢ refined her nose even further by narrowing the bridge and adding height. The patient is very pleased with her results.
